Alastair
Raised in Scotland and educated at Oxford, Alastair worked in finance before a journalistic career that took him from London to Brussels via Paris, Moscow, Berlin, Baghdad and Jerusalem; fluent in French and at ease in German, Russian and Italian, he wrote on conflicts and capital markets, politics, sport and society. As bureau chief, editor and correspondent, he managed large multimedia teams before founding Clan Europa in 2019.
